TIS’ THE SEASON TO CELEBRATE ALL THAT’S MERRY AND BRIGHT!

Speaking of bright…join us to kick-off the holidays with a festive holiday light display! The Gurnee Park District, in partnership with the Village of Gurnee, the Village of Gurnee Chamber of Commerce and Gurnee Community Church proudly presents the 5th annual “Holiday Lights” event at Welton Plaza (Old Grand Avenue)!

We’ll have firepits and s’mores to keep you warm, free pizza to keep you full, craft stations to keep you busy, and much more! Special guests include Gurnee Park District Above the Barre Dance Team, Gurnee Mayor, Tom Hood, and everyone’s favorite holiday duo – Mr. and Mrs. Claus!  Want to help those in need this holiday season? Staff will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Warren Township Food Pantry during the event. Please bring your donations to help make a difference in our community!

Hablando de brillo… ¡acompáñenos a comenzar las fiestas con un espectáculo de luces navideñas! El Distrito de Parques de Gurnee, en colaboración con la Villa de Gurnee, la Cámara de Comercio de la Villa de Gurnee y la Iglesia Comunitaria de Gurnee, presenta con orgullo el 5.º evento anual “Luces Navideñas” en Welton Plaza (Old Grand Avenue).

Tendremos fogatas y s’mores para calentarse, pizza gratis para saciarse, estaciones de manualidades para mantenerse ocupados y mucho más. Entre los invitados especiales se encuentran el equipo de baile Above the Barre del Distrito de Parques de Gurnee, el alcalde de Gurnee, Tom Hood, y el dúo navideño favorito de todos: ¡el Sr. y la Sra. Claus! ¿Quiere ayudar a los necesitados esta temporada navideña? El personal recolectará alimentos no perecederos para Warren Township Food Pantry durante el evento. ¡Traiga sus donaciones para ayudar a marcar la diferencia en nuestra comunidad!

Speaking of bright…join us to kick-off the holidays with a festive holiday light display! The Gurnee Park District, in partnership with the Village of Gurnee and the Village of Gurnee Chamber of Commerce, proudly presents “Holiday Lights” at Welton Plaza (Old Grand Avenue)!

We’ll have firepits, s’mores, and hot chocolate* to keep you warm, craft stations with cookie and donut decorating to keep you busy, live ice sculpting, a DJ playing holiday music throughout the event, and much more! Special guests include Gurnee Park District Above the Barre Dance Team, Gurnee Mayor, Tom Hood, your favorite “Elf” and his sidekick, Jovi, as well as everyone’s favorite holiday duo – Mr. and Mrs. Claus!

NEW this year – a commemorative “Holiday Lights” mug will be given to the first 200 children who visit with Santa! 

FREE pizza will be available from Jimanos Pizza of Gurnee (while supplies last)!

Help those in need! Volunteers from Warren Township Food Pantry will be onsite taking non-perishable donations.
