We`re not trying to flood your feed…but a little spring rain turned into a whole lot of water! Viking Park playgrounds remain open, however, our athletics fields are a little under the weather and are currently closed for play.

If visiting the park, please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and stay safe!

Road closures include:
Grand Avenue (closed from Rt. 21 to O`Plaine Road)
Old Grand Avenue (closed from Grand to O`Plaine Road)
Emerald Avenue

Betty Russell Community Park is more than just a park. It`s where many of you may have learned to ride a bike, swing high on the swings, climb, run, play your first soccer game, or go on endless, imaginative adventures. It`s where memories were made, and we`re gearing up to keep that fun going for generations to come.

Join us TONIGHT at 6:00pm at Betty Russell Community Park (5300 Pinewood Road) for a public meeting to view the preliminary concept design created from your survey feedback!
*meeting will take place inside the warming shelter (rain or shine)
