Gather the family to celebrate the holidays with a special LIVE performance! Gurnee Park District Performing Arts proudly presents, “It’s a Wonderful Life – A Live Radio Play Adapted by Philip Grecian”!

“It’s a Wonderful Life” is based on the story, “The Greatest Gift,” by Philip Van Doren Stern. This production is presented with the permission of The Greatest Gift Corporation, and is produced by special arrangement with the Dramatic Publishing Company of Woodstock, Illinois.

“Every time a bell rings…” it might just be your cue to audition! We’re excited to invite both youth and adult performers (ages 5+) to audition for our upcoming production of “It’s a Wonderful Life”, a radio play adaptation of the movie classic.

This heartwarming, family-friendly production is a great way to get involved, connect with others, and be part of a welcoming, creative experience. Whether you’re brand new or have been on stage before, we’d love to see you at auditions!

Ring, ring, ring… do you hear those sleigh bells in the distance? That’s Santa on the line! Sign your child up for a truly magical North Pole phone call and watch their face light up as they chat with Santa himself and share their holiday wishes straight from the heart.

Each festive call lasts about 3–5 joyful minutes, just enough time for big smiles, a few giggles, and a whole lot of holiday magic. Don’t miss this holly jolly experience exclusively for Gurnee Park District residents!

Step into a winter wonderland and start the holiday season with a morning full of joy, laughter, and a little North Pole magic at Breakfast with Santa!

Gather with family and friends for a delicious breakfast filled with festive favorites. As the smell of pancakes and sausage fills the air and holiday music sets the mood, excitement builds for the guest of honor himself, Santa Claus!

Little ones will have the chance to meet Santa in person, share their holiday wishes, and capture a magical photo to remember the moment. Before heading home, each child will receive their very own “reindeer food” to sprinkle outside on Christmas Eve to help guide Santa’s sleigh for its big night of deliveries.

*All ages are welcome to attend this festive event! Guests ages 2 and older must be registered, and children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Please note that highchairs are not available.
