  • Learn or develop skills

Volunteers are needed to serve in many capacities here at Gurnee Park District, including special events, coaching youth leagues, and more.
For more information on volunteerism or fulfilling hours for church or school, contact our Supervisor of Community Programs and Events at 847-599-3745.

Volunteer coaches are needed throughout the year for youth soccer, basketball, and t-ball leagues. Coaches give freely of their time, and help to teach players aspects of their sport, including fundamentals and teamwork.

Coaches are required to attend a mandatory pre-season training, where they will learn league rules and safety protocols.

If you are interested in coaching for one of our youth leagues, please contact our Athletics Supervisor at 847-599-3770 for more information.
