Accessibility at Gurnee Park District

At Gurnee Park District, we are committed to inclusivity and ensuring that our parks, facilities, and programs are accessible to individuals of all abilities with our comprehensive ADA accessibility measures. Each year, our team continues to improve upon new and existing features within our spaces through our Capital Improvement Plan and ADA standards.

Gurnee Park District intends to comply with the intent and spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability. If you need any special accommodations, please call Gurnee Park District, so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Gurnee Park District works with Warren Special Recreation Association (WSRA) to provide assistance in our programs.

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires that the Gurnee Park District make its
facilities, programs and services accessible to persons with disabilities in accordance with the
standards of the ADA. If an individual feels that he or she has been unable to access a Park
District facility, program or service because of a lack of accessibility or has been discriminated
against because of a disability, the individual should fill out the ADA Complaint Form.
