Join the GO Gurnee Walking Club at Independence Grove Forest Preserve (16400 Buckley Road, Libertyville, IL)!

Directions/Walk Details: They have 2 primary trails. One is paved, one is gravel. Both go around the lake. It’s roughly 2.5 miles with some gently rolling hills and almost no shade. We’ll meet in the picnic shelter to the LEFT.  Once you enter, go to the LEFT and head all the way to the end.  There is a nice parking lot. Note: they will check your ID at the gate. Entry is free for Lake County residents but you will need your id showing you live in Lake County. Sorry, NO PETS allowed.
