Kids ages 8-11 also have a chance to workout like mom and dad! Add unlimited access to the FitKids Group Exercise program by adding the Childcare+ add on-on to your membership.
Class times/days are indicated on our monthly Group Exercise and FitKids Schedules. Arrive early to reserve your spot 15 minutes prior to class. Classes are first come, first served. For participant safety, we limit the number of spaces available for drop-in classes and vary upon class format.

A great way to tone your muscles, improve your appearance and fight age related muscle loss.
A choreographed strength and conditioning class that uses high repetition with weighted barbells and inspiring music to motivate participants through 10 music tracks. Every major muscle group is worked using exercises from the weight room. (Please note: express classes will use less than 10 tracks.)
During this class, participants will rotate through stations and/or use any of the fitness equipment for a period of minutes. This class will shape and tone all the major muscle groups. Some cardio may be included to burn calories and strengthen your most important muscle, your heart. This class is sure to be a fulfilling and challenging interval workout. Appropriate for all levels.
An all over body toning workout using free weights, exertubes, stability balls, medicine balls and your own body resistance to shape and tone your body from head to toe. Muscles will be isolated more with a smaller range of motion and more reps to get the burn you are longing for. Modifications will be demonstrated if necessary. Appropriate for all levels.
A class that combines moves based on classical ballet and Pilates floor work to improve flexibility and posture while developing leg strength. Appropriate for all levels. Barres are used to assist with balance and form.
A butt-kicking, gut-wrenching, gun-slinging class aimed at improving your overall body strength and tone. This is a full-body strength workout to help you tone and shape up.
A muscle conditioning class that challenges nearly every muscle. Tighten, tone and strengthen the entire body using dumbbells, tubes, exercuffs, resistaballs, core boards and your own body weight for resistance. Appropriate for all levels.
A high intensity interval training with a bit more spice. This class is the latest and greatest with several studies showing its benefits and how you can get results you’ve always wanted! This class is designed as follows: 20 seconds of high intensity cardio training followed by 10 seconds of rest. Each session is four minutes long with the class consisting of around six to eight sessions. It is short, efficient and yet still offers “huge” cardiovascular benefits. These classes are heart rate rising classes designed to give you a complete cardio workout.
This is a sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilization exercises. Dynamic instructors and powerful music motivate everyone towards their fitness goals – from the weekend athlete to the hard-core competitor!
This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi and Muay Thai. Strike, punch, kick and kata the calories away with superior cardio fitness class supported by driving music!
This class is a heart pumping, muscle flexing, challenging workout. Bodyattack™ or simple cardio combinations will be taught with intervals of strength training (weights, tubes, pump bars etc.) in between. Interval training is one of the best ways to train.
Bodycombat™ tracks intermixed with power training drills on the boxing bags. (Boxing gloves required to be brought to class by the participant or a towel can be wrapped around hands for safety when hitting the bags.)
This is an intense workout including plyometrics, sports drills, strength and abdominal exercises. Take your cardio to a whole new level!
This class consists of three to four step combinations all put together at the end for a fun workout. Combinations will be broken down, and class will be low impact. This class is different from Bodystep™. It usually takes three to four classes to pick up the choreography. Consistency is recommended!
Bodystep™ is an “all-systems-go” workout. Compelling cardio fitness that shapes and tones the legs, improves coordination, bone density, posture and agility with easy to follow choreographed combinations using an adjustable step platform. Appropriate for all levels.
This class mixes Pilates, Boxing and fun dance moves into a fat burning, muscle sculpting, core-centric interval workout.
The instructor will choose between kickboxing, step and floor aerobics as well as 15 minutes of ab work to create one heart pumping cardio workout!
These classes are a hybrid of heart rate rising movements combined with various weight and resistance work to increase strength.
Cardio Tabata Training with intervals of intense core tabatas to strengthen and tone your abs, back and glutes.
A high intensity and endurance based workout utilizing Jillian Michael’s 3-2-1 interval approach: 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio and 1 minute of abs.
30 minutes of cardio and strength intervals to give you a full body workout. This challenges the body by raising the heart rate, recovering and then bringing the heart rate back up. Easy to follow cardio combinations, step, hi/lo, or kickbox, intermixed with intervals of toning.
Indoor cycling is a great way to increase lower body fitness, endurance, energy and strength. It’s hard to keep up a year round cycling regimen in the Midwest, so we have brought your ride indoors!
An awesome indoor cycling class that provides fun and a challenging cardiovascular workout for all fitness levels. WATER BOTTLES ARE MANDATORY to participate in this class! Heart rate monitors are recommended. First time participants, please arrive 10 minutes early to learn proper bike set-up. (Journey: for the intermediate to advanced participant looking for a longer ride.)
The combination of beginning to intermediate yoga and cycling. This program promotes cardiovascular health along with strength, endurance and flexibility. Great program for all ages and beginners are most welcome.
Dance is the world’s first workout! Choose one of these classes to enjoy a dance inspired workout that will keep you motivated through music and fun steps.
This class is set to the latest music, and uses the greatest dance moves you will ever come across. Burn calories, increase your fitness level and learn to dance better. (No dance experience necessary. All moves are broken down for all levels.)
Combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin infused Zumba moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training, dance fitness party. Students learn how to use lightweight, one or two pound dumbbells or maraca like toning sticks, to enhance rhythm and tone all their target zones, including arms, abs, glutes, and thighs. Zumba is the perfect way for participants to sculpt their bodies naturally while having a total blast!
Yoga/Pilates classes are designed to engage the mind and body and helps improve flexibility, range of motion, balance, posture and may help with stress, fatigue and other chronic ailments.
A Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates workout that builds flexibility, strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.
Work all major and minor muscle groups by repeating a series of poses and flowing them together to develop strength, flexibility, endurance and mindfulness. This is a non-competitive class that introduces beginners to the benefits of yoga while challenging continuing students. Consistent attendance will provide the most benefit!
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced, meditative style of yoga with postures that are held for three to five minutes. Yin yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.
Aquatic group exercise classes are designed to give you a great, low impact work out and challenge your body in ways you just can’t on land.
This class uses aerobic/strength training with intervals of modified Pilates moves to challenge and strengthen your core. Some work is completed in deeper water to maximize aquatic benefits!
This class combines aquatic kick boxing and HIIT for the ultimate in water workout!
Developed to be safe, fun and challenging, FitKids is a great way to add exercise programming into your 6-11 year old’s life. FitKids compliments your childcare add-on and provides your kid with an age appropriate and active fitness opportunity. You can add this unlimited drop-in program to your fitness membership by selecting the Childcare+ add-on for only $20 a month. Class options are available at FitNation and Hunt Club Fitness Center.
