Volunteers Make a Difference

Volunteers are vital to most of the programs we offer - staffing special events, coaching youth sports, serving lunch to our seniors, assisting with crafts and science projects, keeping our parks beautiful - these are some of the many ways volunteers help Gurnee Park District. And yes, they really do make a difference! Enhance your life while helping others. Persons ages 12 and older are encouraged to get involved by volunteering. Volunteers give freely of their time and expertise in order to make a difference. Currently, we are in need of the following types of volunteers:

Special Events Assistance
