DESCRIPTION:Having hope is that “bridge” until we get to the other side. As we peer 3-bridges down the road setting intentions for part two of 2026\, we must act (strategies) and not just sit in hope. Smashing negative thoughts\, knowing our strengths\, using humor\, trying something new\, and having emotional self-control are just some of the techniques we will learn. \nRecalibrating for summer can be very motivating for kids. To dramatize the concept of hope\, growth\, and fun we will engineer a Hershey’s decked out Truss or Suspension candy bridge while we learn about the world’s most decadent bridges\, even one with a Ferris Wheel on it! \nKids will experience a hurricane dramatization that will blow through the room to be sure their bridge is structurally sound! Located at Bittersweet Golf Club\, Families on the Fairway will include a variety of activities for all ages to enjoy\, including bounce houses\, mini-golf games\, DJ and photo booth\, as well as take home crafts\, courtesy of our friends from the Warren Newport Public Library. \nAdding to the party will be the open driving and putting ranges\, where guests can try to perfect their golf skills! \nDrinks and snacks will be available for purchase during the event from the Bittersweet Golf Club bar and grill. \nThis event is brought to you in partnership with the Village of Gurnee and Bittersweet Golf Club.  \nFriday\, June 12\n7:00-9:00pm\nBittersweet Golf Club \n¡Disfruta de nuestro evento GRATUITO “Familias en el Fairway”!
