Inclusion
Gurnee Park District strives to ensure all the necessary accommodations are available to provide recreational opportunities to the entire community. To help us achieve this, we partner with Warren Special Recreation Association (WSRA) to provide support for the individuals that participate in our programs.
Should your loved one need additional support within our programs, please make note of this accommodation upon registration with Gurnee Park District and a WSRA Team Member will be in contact with you to set up an intake meeting and assist with determining the necessary level of Inclusion support needed for the Park District setting. A minimum of three weeks’ notice is required prior to the start of the program, to arrange appropriate accommodations.
In addition to support from WSRA, the Gurnee Park District provides accessible accommodations at its facilities, parks, and playgrounds to maximize access to all of our customers.
