Develop your child’s intellect through learning how to play chess. This class is contracted through Chess Scholars. Classes consist of a fun interactive teaching period and a guided practice time. Both new and returning participants are welcome and will get to the next level under the guidance of an experienced Chess Scholars coach.

Sallie Roniss, the Gurnee Park District’s very own renown artist, will introduce you to painting with oils. This will include composition, technique and theory. Individual instruction is given to every student. The instructor will provide a supply list, which students are responsible to purchase. Students often display their work at the Gurnee Park District Art Show celebrated each spring.

Beginning Guitar 1
T.D. Clark Productions provides high quality instruction in a friendly format that stresses having fun, as well as learning! Students will learn basic chords, sight reading and songs. Beginning Guitar 2

In Beginning Guitar 2, the students continue to build on skills learned in Beginning Guitar 1. They will learn more advanced chords, sight reading and songs than book 1, but in the same format There is a one time book fee of $14.95 due at the first class payable to T.D. Clark Productions. Guitar Boot Camp
T.D. Clark Productions provides high quality instruction in a friendly format that stresses having fun, as well as learning! Students will learn basic chords, scales, strumming patterns, and some basic music theory to get you playing quickly. Emphasis will be on learning chord sequences so you can play popular songs. There is a one time book fee of $14.95 due at the first class payable to T.D. Clark Productions. You need to provide a guitar and enthusiasm. Electric guitars welcome (bring own practice amp).
