The Hunt Club Park Community Center is located at 920 N. Hunt Club Road, Gurnee. (847) 623-7788 (on the west side of Hunt Club Road, between Washington Street and Grand Avenue, next to the Aquatic Center).

Fitness Center - Are you looking for a place for the entire family to get fit and healthy?  Check out our fully equipped Fitness Center on the second floor of the Hunt Club Community Center.  Our Fitness Center includes Precor, StairMaster, Cybex & Concept 2 Cardio Equipment and a full line of Magnum Strength Training & Free Weight Equipment.

Indoor Track - Joggers and walkers can cover a mile in 12 laps on our indoor, climate-controlled track.  An expanse of windows provide a view of the outdoors as well as an interior overview of the gymnasium below.

Rock Climbing Wall - Challenge your friends and family on our 24-foot rock climbing wall. If you enjoy climbing or have always wanted to scale a wall like Spiderman, then you’ve come to the right place. A variety of classes will be offered throughout the year with certified staff on hand. Event schedules, hours, and classes will be available at the Hunt Club Park Community Center or online. For hours of operation, please check the monthly Hunt Club Park calendar or online. Climbers must be at least 6 years old and 40 inches tall and must be wearing gym shoes.

Group Exercise/Multipurpose Room - If you enjoy participating in Group Exercise Classes, be sure to check out the myriad of classes offered in this room, which features a state-of-the-art sound system and suspended wood floors to help reduce impact and injury.  This room will also be used for general programs and birthday parties.

Dance Studio - From Tiny Dancers to Intermediate Ballet, this state-of-the-art studio offers a wood floor, mirrored walls, and balanced sound system paired with our experienced staff.

Preschool Wing - The Center's classrooms house a variety of programs, including preschool, arts and crafts, and music to meet the needs of preschoolers, children, and adults.

Meeting Room - This room offers a great location for community meetings, as well as a home for programs offered by the Gurnee Park District.

Rentals - The Hunt Club Park Community Center is a great place to hold your next party, meeting, business function or special event. The Gymnasium, Family Activity Room, Multipurpose Room, Climbing Wall and Meeting Room are all available for rental.

Child Care Room

The Child Care Room at the Hunt Club Park Community Center accepts reservations and drop ins, based on availability for children 3 months and up. Children 3 - 24 months will be accepted by reservation only. A complete list of guidelines is available at the Hunt Club Park Child Care Room or at the registration desk.

Parents must remain on-site while their children are in the Child Care Room. The maximum allowable time for children 3-24 months is 1.5 hours. The maximum allowable time for children 2-6 years is 2 hours.

Gold and Platinum Fit Pass Members may select Child Care as an add-on option. Program Participants may also utilize childcare through the use of a 10-visit punch card or by paying a daily fee.

Gymnasium

The Gymnasium is perfect for practice, small games, or just space for children to run off some energy! Many Park District Programs are held in the gym. There are also many drop-in opportunities to pick up a game with friends! Rentals include use of basketballs, volleyballs, volleyball standards, room divider, and bleachers.
