Aquatic Fitness classes are great for those looking to add a little variety to their existing workout routines or those looking for a low impact workout to sustain a healthy lifestyle. And don’t forget, Aquatic Fitness classes are a great social activity to do with friends and family. Our classes and instructors are able to modify most of their moves to any ability level, even for those who are non-swimmers. Our classes are taught by certified instructors. For all Aquatic Fitness classes, Hunt Club Fitness Members receive a discount of 20% (when registering in person at the Hunt Club Community Center). Indoor classes are taught in 88 degree swimming pool for maximum comfort. Teens 12-15 yrs. welcome to register with a registered adult accompanying them.
This class will use a variety of aerobic and strength exercises plus a few moves from other aquatic fitness classes. This class is great for participants who want a taste of Aquatic Fitness with a full body workout offering low impact options for your joints. This class is great for all ages and ability levels.
This class combines water adapted yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi with other strength, flexibility, and relaxation techniques to challenge your body and mind in the aquatic environment. This is a great class for seniors and others looking to improve balance and range of motion.
The Aqua Zumba® program gives new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. Integrating the Zumba® formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, the Aqua Zumba® class blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating! This is our most intense Aquatic Fitness class but many moves can still be modified to your ability level.
